DOING GOOD BY LINKING ENTITIES CHALLENGE SUBMISSION
The WoLE2013 Challenge is offering prizes for the best applications that show the impact of the Web of Linked Entities on problems/solutions affecting the local community, e.g. detecting corruption, tracking criminality, facilitating access to education or health services, helping to search for the cure for neglected diseases, promoting citizen participation on the government, improving tourism-related services, etc. Submit your application to the WoLE2013 Challenge before April 10th, 2013.

FULL/SHORT PAPER SUBMISSION (closed)
We invite submissions of full papers (up to 8 pages) and short papers (up to 4 pages). All submissions will be reviewed by at least three program committee members, and will be assessed based on their novelty, technical quality, potential impact, and clarity of writing. The workshop proceedings will be published through the ACM Digital Library. Please, submit in PDF format to: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=wole2013. Submissions must:
- be written in English;
- contain author names, affiliations, and email addresses;
- use the ACM SIG Proceedings template with the font size no smaller than 9pt (http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates);
- be in PDF (make sure that the PDF can be viewed on any platform);
- be formatted for the US Letter size;
- occupy no more than 4 pages (short paper) or 8 pages (full paper), including the abstract and appendices, but excluding references.
It is the authors’ responsibility to ensure that their submission adhere strictly to the required format. Submissions that do not comply with the above guidelines may be rejected without review.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION (closed)
In order to allow for PC members to bid on the papers that are closer to their interest/expertise and to provide a fair review with high quality feedback to authors, we kindly request that you send us (at least) an abstract as soon as possible between February 18th, 2013 and March 1st, 2013 (extended deadline). We recommend that the abstracts have from 100 to 500 words, but there is no hard limitation, as long as the final paper is within the constraints required by ACM Sig Proceedings.

The best paper will be given a "best paper award" certificate and an iPad2 16GB.
Challenge winners will be awarded iPads2 16GB.
